  1. Well after the 7 time of removing and cleaning the carbs the clips have finally given up the ghost. These are thin clips like on BMW, but where can I get a new set from, can't seem to find any on the net. Got loads at work but there too thick

  2. Ducati dealership!

I have ordered loads of random and obscure bits this week, including swingarm circlips and random little nut and bolts etc

  3. standard are 9 mm width - if you really are stuck then one of us will post i'm sure (but AL is closest :)) - 4 needed?

  4. Thanks all, never even thought about screewfix, will get a pack on Saturday, not too worried if not stainless at the mo, will change every thing to stainless when I have the time and money for a full restore:upyeah:

  5. I recently bought some stainless 9mm wide hose clips (for carburettor rubbers) in the local Halfords. They were fine.

  6. Thanks Pete, got to go to sports direct on Saturday and halfords is next door so will pop in and see if they have any, save me going to screewfix.

  7. The fact that your clips have failed infers that you may be overtightening them, which not only b*ggers them up, but it also b*ggers the rubber connectors and can cause air leaks as well.......they only need nipping up a small amount....

    AL.

  8. Its only one that needs changing, I cant even get it to tighten up, think its just worn out, it is 22 years old, I think I can just about remember that!!

  9. If you only want one, come and get it.........I can't drive yet.

    AL

  10. Managed to fine some on the bay, £3.50 for 5 delivered:upyeah:
