Hi guys just had this done to some plastic bits, love the carbon look but cant justify the cost what do you think .
Thanks £60, but i was going to have the hugger and chain guard done as well but one thing and another bills mainly took the money, the quote for the lot was £120
Not wicked coatings i did get a quote from them then found a company near me,i saw the Wheeler Dealers program on Sky thats how i found out about this. Any chance of a photo of your belly pan.
Found a place very local to me who do this, when I get back from leave going to pop over and get a quote to see how it compares to a full carbon part.
looks real good but i think it is abit expensive as well. had my hugger for under the swingarm made for my 888 and i think i paid 70€. henk!!!
Yep, had a choice. Went for satin as the bike is matte Titainium. No prep by me, just sent it in as it was. They did a great job. It was far smoother when it came back.
I see that Wicked Coatings are at Poole. Anyone know of a Company further north - Birmingham or Manchester areas?
not my cup of tea - doesnt belong on a Ducati  bloke at work had his honda chopper done in it - bleugh
Be fair! Awwwrr, come on, be fair. If you want to loose weight on a Ducati, start with the rider. Based on what i've seen in the mirror and the last few meets you can loose a fair few Kg of unnecessary weight starting there. Carbon weight reduction where you might need it, but the belly pan is a damn good idea to get coated. Mines powder coated Black, but it would have looked better like these pictures. Horses for courses....(mines a double whopper please) I've just doubled the weight of my battery and starter cables! Warning about Lithium batteries...they don't like charging in the cold!
