Can anyone recommend a brand that doesn't have a problem with the heat? I'm sure I've read somewhere that some show signs of burning after a while. I'm after a matte one if that makes a difference
The ilmberger Carbon ceramic shield is the only one I know that 100% won't burn. I had one fitted to my 1199 and 899. Still looks perfect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Installed the ceramic carbon heatshield on ma old 1199 today. Some small scratches on it as it was used but anyway improved the look 1000% compared to the ugly plastic motherfucker oem my-13.
