That'd be a 999R nose then. I have the whole fairing set in Carbon, ready to be painted Black but would rather have the nose fairing without the top vents. Missed one on eBay over a year ago and haven't seen one since. Anyone got one they want to sell, or swap for a vented one?
Not completely correct, bikes made post 2005 had the revised nose cone which only have the lower vents. This was to try to make the overall design a little more appealing in a big to sell more 749/999's. I have a set of 2007 plastic fairings which have this style of nose cone. Thanks Kope, I have looked at the Ilmberger option but they have that weird cutout around the lights, presumably for a sheet of perspex or similar. I'm after as close the the original as possible, in shape.
Sorry those ones Kopey mentioned are £420 , may take a while for ebay to come to your rescue for a more reasonable price though.
The last 999R genuine part I saw on eBay was £299. Was away for the weekend & missed it. Turns out they're hen's teeth. At this point I'd pay £400 for a new part but the Ilmberger has this weird thing going on (recess around lights):

I have, thanks. Still holding out for 999R OEM rather than 3rd party I'll need to drill. The fit to the side panels would really bother me if not right too. Patience required I guess.
