just looking at the ducati performance open carbon cover, looks nice and well made, are there any other decent carbon ones out there worth buying? loads on ebay but not sure of the quality, most of these are half the money of the dp but are they worth bothering with?
The question is why would you want a carbon fibre open clutch cover? If you happen to drop your bike on its side it offers next to no protection to your clutch, god forbid you bend your output shaft etc. They do look trick though.....
see your point mate, its got the closed ducati performance one at the minute, ive just bought a slipper clutch and fancied an open cover, want something nice, whats a decent one to get? jhp?
I have similar on mine (looks the same different make)after already dropping it on a carbon one. I can confirm carbon do look awesome and offer zero protection. The ally/carbon feels fairly robust. I think if it goes down hard enough to break that the whole lots probably fooked anyway.
cheers lads for the advice, took your advice and just bought this one on ebay Woodcraft Ducati Open Clutch Cover | eBay
