Carbon Open Clutch Cover

  1. just looking at the ducati performance open carbon cover, looks nice and well made, are there any other decent carbon ones out there worth buying? loads on ebay but not sure of the quality, most of these are half the money of the dp but are they worth bothering with?

  2. The question is why would you want a carbon fibre open clutch cover?
If you happen to drop your bike on its side it offers next to no protection to
your clutch, god forbid you bend your output shaft etc.

    They do look trick though.....

  5. That's no better than an open carbon one for protection.

  6. that's what I was thinking

  7. The way I see it on my bike the other half that is exposed is behind the fairing

  8. I have similar on mine (looks the same different make)after already dropping it on a carbon one. I can confirm carbon do look awesome and offer zero protection. The ally/carbon feels fairly robust. I think if it goes down hard enough to break that the whole lots probably fooked anyway.

  9. Good choice - Woodcraft stuff is proper tough :upyeah:
