Carbon Repair?

  1. Has anyone had it done?

Just got back today from the TT. Had 5 days of hard fast riding on the island, pootling along at 40mph on the way home and one of our party (we think) loses it on a patch of diesel and goes down.

I see a bike in front of me and have to move quickly in order not to hit it and the front end of my 3wk old SF goes aswell.

Just fitted crash bungs, cannot over estimate how much these saved me a costly repair bill. Definitely get them on your naked bikes if you haven't already.

My new DP Carbon front hugger took a graze to it though. Has anyone repaired carbon before? I read it's just the lacquer you can fix rather than the weave, but the graze seems to not go too deep, so I may be ok.

Has anyone here bought a repair kit before, and where from?

    Thanks,

    Nick
