1200 R Carbon Termi's Are So Loud - Do Baffles Make A Difference?

Yes, definitely.

My 1200R was the first bike I had to use baffles in for the same reason.

 

I’ve no baffles and it’s louder than I’d like but I’m not paying £180 for Termi baffles… and they’re a weird size so nowt on eBay

Ear plugs essential…

 

I have a 1200s with carbon termi's, took the baffles out once, started bike, switched it off and put them back in. I like a loud bike but way too loud for me without baffles.

 

Ear plugs are cheaper than baffles

 

I have an 1100 evo and it's got carbon termis, it's very very loud without baffles. I use earplugs.

You're definitely not alone. Although I don't have Termis, I do have a Euro 3 (when baffle is in) Carbon SC-Project exhaust.
I always have ear plugs also. The exhaust note without baffles is nice but this year, for whatever reason, It's way too loud.
I'm much happier with the baffle in. I can now hear my Cardo at least.
