  1. Are these bad enough to cause starting problems?[IMG]

  2. Look worth replacing to me...

  3. well they don't look that new
its hard to tell if they are breaking down
and new ones are not going to break the bank
they do look a bit sooty / black
just a note that resistor ngk plugs can be problematic in my opinion although others swear by them I have found bosch plugs much better
the last ngk R plugs lasted 50 miles before they stopped working but that's just me lol
the bosch plugs I have in my 750 ss ie are yr7dc+

  4. They look very rich, I would expect starting and running problems .

  5. It runs great on them. Does not like starting, hot or cold. Wondering to what degree the plugs are at fault. Had the bike remapped but did not change the plugs

  7. Very helpful. "Rich tea biscuit" is the ideal appearance; anything else suggests a problem.

  8. a quick resistance check will tell yah. approx 5k ohms between top and bottom of electrode if there is an R after the bcp which i think there is
open circuit at the highest setting on your multi meter between the top and threaded part of the plug. they can carbon up inside the plug and short circuit up there.
