Which bikes had the scoops on the fairing (pictured) and which ones did not, please? Most seem to have no scoops, some have top scoops, some have bottom scoops and some have top and bottom scoops? What's that all about?
They were only fitted to '97 bikes onward. Introduced to help cooling to the rear cylinder, the fairing graphic was changed too . Always liked the look of these fairings, the FE had them too [emoji41][emoji1303]
to have none for 7 years and then 3 different versions of scooped ones all at the same time is odd Funny the prices of bith the carby and the ie. Anything from £1500 to £5000 seems to go.
They still command (carb models) a decent price in Aus. Probably average around the $6 to 6500 mark. I don't ride mine a hell of a lot but when I do, I marvel at how well they handle. Fantastic bikes imo.
Nope.........I have had offers, but either too low for the whole lot or just silly ones for the bike without the spares. If it sells, then it's for the whole lot, because I want the workshop cleared............ If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it and probably let it deteriorate as most do over time when not used.
