  9. Carlos Fandango was a participant in The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix,Imo one of the best stop motion films of all time.
    Not certain whether he was in the original,(1975) release,which may have led to the name being used in the commercial?
    There was a subsequent release in 1998 or thereabouts: it is the most widely-viewed Norwegian film ever made according to Wikipedia,about 5.5 million tickets sold.
    For those that have not seen it there are a couple of clips on Yowtewb.
