Carole nash -idiots

  1. As title. How can i be quoted a figure on saturday, and call today to take the policy out for it to go up by 20%? No details changed, or anything. Even asked how long the quote was valid for. I hate the whole insurance industry. Rant over

  2. I know it is to late but I always get quote number and if can name of person. Good luck in finding one they are getting worse and worse.

  4. I got a ref number, and name and they even agree they are at fault as it was a new employee and i shouldnt of taken the figure to be a genuine quote? haha
     
  5. I'd rather clap with crap in my hands than deal with those numpties.

    Gonna lodge a complaint with FSA to at least cause them a headache too
     
  6. New employee is not excuse. If my receptionist sells room for half price due to error I honour that.
     
  7. exactly what i said. Ive lodged a complaint anyway now so we'll see what happens. They told me they will listen to the tapes and call me back.
     
  8. I had a similar thing with them, got a quote before my renewal arrived, because I wanted to sort my finances out before I went on holiday.

    Sorted a reasonable deal , got the lads name, got reference number, asked them to send the renewal out.

    When I got back off holiday my renewal had arrived but of course not at the price quoted, about £40 dearer! After a couple of phone calls I eventually got to speak to the same lad, who remembered the call. So can I have the previous price? .... No! .... Why? ....Because I made a mistake and shouldn't of give you a quote before the renewal went out. The quote was based on last year's premium before you added the ST4s...... Well that's your fault....I know I am sorry, but I can't give it to you at that price!

    I wish now that I had paid before going on holiday. Had to go with them because I didn't have time to ring round and it gets complicated having three bikes on the same policy.

  10. My missus had a similar thing happen to her with her car insurance. She asked them to check their recording of the telephone conversation and then insisted that they honour their verbal quote. And after they checked they did honour it. I'd suggest you try the same.

  11. I've been quoted the exact same premium by bike sure so I'll prob just do it with them. Carole Nash are getting a manager to listen to the conversation and to then call me. I'm going to ask for a copy of the tape and also the one where they tell me it was a new guy guessing etc. whether I get them is a another story but a lodged complaint with the fsa at least costs them to sort out and might stop them doing same to someone else
