Anyone done a track day at Castle Combe on a DVT? They have a 105db noise limit measured at distance of 50cm at 3/4 rev range. I've got a track day there booked but have been told my DVT may not pass it. Wondered if anyone has had any issues there with a DVT. What worries me a bit is that I've also got the exhaust valve hard wired open and I think this makes it louder than without that mod. Cheers. John.
I'd be very surprised if a standard exhaust broke their noise regs, and I think the valve is fully open at three quarter rpm anyway.
They list it on their website (well, MTS 1200) as unlikely to pass. 3/4 revs is sheer madness, and what stops me going there. That and 10 min sessions May be worth going along on another day and having it tested and chat to the tester about if they would let you do a drive by test
Going back some time I know, but when I raced there it was bumpy as hell, therefore didn't like the circuit.
