No not howling dogs at a silver disc in the sky, just wailing motogp felines with claws in Catalunya. Day one done. Times close. No great surprises. But hey ho, Friday is often mere shadow boxing, albeit less so than in days of yore. It’ll take an exceptional performance to dethrone the current Barca king - FourCheeses. Yet Bologna have a decent record here. Baggy and Backflip looking pretty good early doors.
First part is ramblings. Something MotoGP related, FourCheeses is Quartararo, Bologna is Ducati, Baggy is Bagnaia and I have absolutely no idea who BackFlip is might be Binder. It would be nearly as quick just to type out in plain English and less painful for those not in the know.
MotoGP is mentioned in the first sentence and the thread is in the racing & bike sport part of the forum, so wasn’t much of a guess. Still be easier if it was plain English though.
Loving the style of writing @GuzziGrowler bit it’s clearly going to become a spoiler so can you add to the obscure title *spoiler please so people don’t inadvertently click and give away the MGP results.
Spoiler added in title as requested. Backflip really shouldn't be difficult to work out. Hint - he's in red.
Baggy made me nervous watching FP3. Leaving his hot lap to the dying seconds. I'm taking that as supreme confidence to pull a lap out when needed. It's going to be a cutthroat Q1 session, although then again, when is it not? KTM backing up their improvements from Mugello with more pace here. The little factory that could proving to be very nimble with bringing new material in response to changing circumstances. In this case the 2021 front tyre curve ball. HRC could learn a lesson here. BUt you need rider clarity to known what to focus on in the machine shop, and HRC simply don't have that now. A less than 100% Marquez really hurting their machine development.
It might be you’re in a niche group there bladders. Only if you follow MGP closely, us casual observers not a chance.
