I thought I’d seen a post on here but not coming up in a search, After some crap luck with stone chips and expensive new lids I’m thinking I should try and protect the new one that’s coming with something if it’s possible? Maybe wrapping it with a bit of colours to kill two birds so to speak? has anyone done either the ppf or ceramic on a lid and how did it turn out? Cheers
Yes, that was my thread . There is a chap on the forum who wraps lids for a business and he is highly thought of. IMO, ceramic polish won’t protect against stone chips, only make it easier to get the road filth and splattered bug carcasses off. Andy
Ceramic is more cars so u dont have to wash it so often, it will enhance the colour Wrap will act as a barrier against stone chips, not as well as a ppf, however to wrap a lid in ppf would be difficult and youd need to piece it Wraps great if your lids looking old or you fancy something different
