Chain Cleaning Tool

  1. No, but the standard 3 way stiff bristle brushes work great.
     
  2. I kinda figured the spiral cleaning action might be more effective. It's either going to be really good or complete rubbish.
     
  3. I think the three way brushes are a bit harsh. I've seen O rings break out behind them. Maybe the O rings were shot already but I use a paint brush and paraffin now just in case. Brush into the chain both sides where it comes off the rear sprocket, leave it ten minutes and do it again and every bit of crud comes off without any violent scrubbing.
    Like most things, if you do it regularly and don't let it get really filthy in the first place, its a lot easier.
     
  4. Buy one tell us how naff it is at getting you it & everything you are using covered in crud. Then go back to a toothbrush & careful inspection of the chain.
