Chain ok to adjust whilst on side stand?

  1. I've got no centre stand or race stand so have to do it old school whilst on side stand.

    Comments/suggestions....

  2. No problem. so long as the suspension is loaded, then you'll get it right.

  3. The procedure in the owner`s manual state that you must have the bike on the side stand while adjusting the chain:upyeah: And if you have an S with DES suspension, you also should set it in Urban mode with rider only. This gives you the softest spring setting so the bike will sagg and set the swing arm angle correct. Then the bike is set to be ready to have the chain adjusted when you use the tension gauge, that came in the bike`s tool folder:smile:
