Evening Looking for recommendations. In the market for a chain breaker/joiner. Also need some new lube. Been using Wurth dry chain lube that I like as no fling but everyone tells me my chain is dry. TIA
Hey. Additional: Are all 525 chains the same? I appreciate that some are o-ring, some are x-ring , different makes etc but could you take a 525 off a Suzuki and put it on a Ducati providing it is long enough?
I use Motul Lube. > it is sticky tacky and almost hi vis yellow. It definitely works in the most demanding applications perfect for a track bike even in wet weather. I think mine might be MX type but would have to check. Raw Power Motorcycles Motul Chain Lube & Cleaner I use this type of chain breaker (I did not get my one from here) DID Style Chain Breaker/Riveter Tool (Splitting) I tend to use a grinder on the edge of link pins, then gently pull the link apart. Some people may not approve of this method but I've seen several people doing it this way.
