Not sure what made me directly look here but noticed this on the subframe. Chain had just been cleaned and dried pre re oil. Chain is within measurement on the metal gauge and always has been. 6.5k miles 2020 bike. Very little sideways flex on chain. Caused by chain or manufacturing mark. Thoughts? To me the smooth vertical mark looks too uniform to have been caused by chain. ? Coincidence of circular mark and rivet shape? The worn type area appears same colour as the rest.
I don’t think the chain has done that, it’s more than likely to have come from the factory with that ‘feature’.
