Like the title asks. If i only change the end can will it need a new ecu.bike is an 821.has anyone changed one. How did it run. Which can dod you put on.? Thanks in advance for advice.
If you are fitting Termi end cans they normally come with a key which has a new map for those cans but it is a generic map, probably tested on 10 bikes and the middle one picked and used as the template for all maps on that bike. IMHO the best thing is to get it dyno mapped so the mapping is specific to your bike with those particular aftermarket cans fitted. This means you can pick and choose which cans you fit then get bike remapped.
