Hi all! Before I start taking things apart: is my idea to much or... Is it possible to change the front wheel from my 996/900SSie (Showa) with the front wheel from my 1100S MTS? (Ohlins) Distance between rotors is the same, all 17" 3,5 Marchesini's, right hand spacer is the same, rotor thickness about the same give or take 0.5 mm. Axle diameter same. Difference: speedo pickup 996/900 at the left front, MTS has sensor at the rear, and a spacer at the front. Why asking: Going for a 10 day ride in the Dolomites shortly and the MTS just does not have the "bite" and feel like the other 2. I need to pull significantly harder to get the bike to stop. MTS brakes are in pristine condition (15k miles) and the lever feel is the same as the other 2 bikes. MTS has the same callipers , just the black edition. Already changed pads in between to no avail, now suspecting the rotor material / Master brake cylinder , The latter kinda hard to swap because I'll lose the right mirror. Thanks!
