Has anyone changed the reservoirs from the standard ones, and what did you change them to? Quite like the idea of pot ones rather than coffin ones, but am unsure what to go for, and what fits. Thanks.
Thanks Andy, i am however a cheapskate. Can you see any reason why these wouldn't fit? Black CNC Brake/Clutch Fluid Reservoir Fit Ducati Monster 1100 S EVO 900 1000 S | eBay
If the fitting instructions/clamp suit your set up, see no reason not to but you only get what you pay for and brake fluid is notoriously corrosive. Andy
The reason for the change is the bleed nut on my clutch res has sheared off in there, is this a direct swap for the standard ones?
If the bleed nipple has sheared off, you will need to remove it to install remote reservoirs. The stuff I used is not a kit per se...I had to collect all the bits and make brackets etc to suit. Off the top of my head: - 1 x Brake reservoir and 1 x clutch reservoir (Brembo plastic) - bit of rubber tube and two metal clips for each reservoir - 2 x 90 deg elbow fitting to connect to original master cylinder - some 2024-T3 Al Alloy to fabricate brackets for brake and clutch - an afternoon (I think it took me a couple of hours including fabricating brackets)
