Yeah, sounds like he is getting on okay with it. I think they can make a jump to at least being considered regular podium finishers at smaller tracks; rather than being lucky to be in the top 6 like they have been. People forget, aside from the utter phenomenon that was Troy Bayliss; Ducati and Honda were for a long while the only ones that had seriously competitive base bikes to go racing with, the ZX7R was already long over the hill; the GSXR750 was never supported well enough because they had wasted money on the TLR which got scrapped, and in the early days of the 1000 IL4's they were just getting there heads around turning very road-based bikes into track bikes. The Honda SP-1 and Ducati 916SPS were always going racing! Nowadays Aprilia have a GP bike that they run in Superbike!
