Ducati Multistrada 1200 Sports Touring 201213 model | eBay Is a FRAUD...as are all his auctions. Just cut n paste from other sites. Contacted the original seller (all other details except contact the same) and he sold for +12K All his items are 1/2 price or less...not sure what the scam is but its a scam.
Would you buy a bike from someone with zero feedback for such a big item, I wouldn't. I would definitely err on the side of caution and report any breach to eBay.
I actually spoke to the original seller of the MTS1200 and that's all his text. I assume he takes a deposit via western union etc. If you actually read all his auctions you'd see he's got a complex multiple personality.
If it's anything like the fishing boat fake ads that have been around for a while, then there's a good chance that the 'winner' will receive an email that looks like it's for a paypal payment... which it won't be - the unwary buyer will end up making a transfer voluntarily or otherwise (fake paypal website, etc). Plenty of fake ads out there on Gumtree and other sites. Sadly people fall for them regularly and the scumbags make an easy living. I report all the ones I find but...
Not sure how it is a fraud, it was pick up only and pay then, unless bike is stolen, not sure where the benefit is there???
Not everyone thinks a scam right through especially if they are new to it. I have had some real idiots try and scam me.
It's Fraud as he doesn't have any of the items for sale. If you tried to make a meeting they'd either try to rob you or be a no show. Probably he'll as for a deposit via western union or similar....
If anyone said Western Union to me I would be immediately suspicious and if he was directly emailing me I would track his IP to see where he might really be.
