Looking to replace my tyres soon, is eBay the cheapest place to pick them up or is there better websites?
I brought a pair of Michelin from universal tyres through ebay. I think they might trade under the name "Black and Round". Saved around £35 but you obviously have to have them fitted so didn't save that much really. Sometimes the old fashion way of phoning up tyre shops for a quote can be best and paying in hard cash can work wonders too.

FWR in Kennington London, they used to do free postage or free fitting. I got mine from there last year and they were the best around at the time. Motorcycle Tyres - FWR LTD - Britain's Cheapest Tyres!
Not sure where you are in the world but I got a stonker of a deal from ProTyre in Bristol - Andy749 is one of the managers there. Got my Metzelers fitted Saturday for the Motogp trip.
How do you get on with the Metzelers? I've always gone with Michelin and found them fantastic in the dry and the wet but thinking of changing this time to Metzelers as the new tread pattern looks good.
Erm, well, I got them Saturday morning - went out on Saturday afternoon to scrub them in a little before the trip up to the motogp. I had supercorsa's on there before....now, I definitely don't claim to be any good on a bike....and just to add im too thick to be able to translate what im feeling into words that can be deciphered. Ie - some journo gets off a bike, spews a load of bollocks about clicking the damping this way or that and the rebount out or in a or whatever....ive had 3 sets of tyres on the RSV4..... 1. Bridgestone BT-021 -felt like I was riding on tyres from a Raleigh Budgie (showing my age now)....like a kids bike with solid rubber tyres....they felt dangerous so took them off almost immediately.... 2. Went to the other extreme - bought a set of supercorsa's - never bought premium rubber in my life as I cant ever afford it...always value the mileage but seeing as this was my first bike with fairing I thought what the hell.... night and day change, almost felt like riding on a cushion of air. In fact on those I got my knee down for the first time... 3. Metzelers....to me - half way between the 2 a bit harder but the bike seems as willing to tip into the corners like the supercorsa's - as I say ive had them on there for about 3 days (came to work on it this morning) but I would say for the price I got them for theyre good so far. Id say in summary kind of a nice trade off - if you got caught in the rain with the Pirelli's on then you kinda had to drive like you had no brakes....it felt like in the rain it would give out at the hint of a bit of lean... Ive not tried a Michelin tyre yet but I will do - I think what journo's write I would take with a large pinch of salt - everyone rides differently and everyones tastes with regards to what they feel are different....so I tend to make a point of deliberately trying a different tyre everytime but that's me - you have to sample everything yourself to make an informed choice....but that's my opinion...from a novice....
Ah.... Thought it was a cryptic way of telling me I was talking shite! Which I was half expecting in the next post...
Ironically I took typing I school....me and my mate took it..... Got the piss taken out of us for weeks but it was us that ended up in a room full of women for 2 years. And on top of that I passed more typing exams than anything I did and it got me a job as a typesetter as my first job when I left school! Funny how these things work out plus I ended up going out with a few of them.... Top stuff.
Did a lot of research when I bought my last set of tyres and got them here Tyre Leader : cheap tyre online, buy car tyres, discount tyres a pair of Michelin PR3s cost me about £50 less than anywhere else delivered to my door.
