I had to watch the two clips, like watching Jeremy Kyle. On the 2nd video the bus driver did indicate at the roundabout to show he was going right, ie straight on as perhaps he realised he was in the wrong lane, perhaps he looked in his mirrors and seen the bike and thought I need to tell him I'm going straight on and indicated. Once on the roundabout the bike had plenty of room to go on the inside and pass the bus with ease. Mr Jiffy, did he need to sound his horn, swear and verbally abuse the driver. Not so long ago I was on my bike going to work when a copper pulled out in front of me causing me to swerve drastically. Yes I was in disbelief and pissed of so once clear I overtook him and shook my head, I pulled in and he followed. What did I get, a full apology from him saying he was in the wrong, situation resolved, no bad language no hand gestures. Mr Jiffy perhaps you need to read the road ahead of you, after all you are a motorcylist.
If anybody here knocks him sparko , just remember to smash his camera up before you leave him the evidence.
If it was compulsory for cyclists to use cycle paths he would, likewise if the arrows on the roundabout were not 'advisory' he'd have a case.
The non compulsory use isn't the point here. These paths are built at great expense, mandatory on all new build estates and yet they are empty! Cyclists then have the nerve to complain about motorists, when yet there is a system there to separate the two parties.
He could have just hung back a bit for the 5 seconds it would have taken, as it was clear before Jiffy entered the roundabout that the bus driver wasn't going to turn left. I think he enjoys these siutation and goes looking for them so he can vent and feel superior. Tit.
I used to be a cyclist, so I'm fine about defensive riding, like feck would I ride in the gutter. But I'd use a cycle path if there was one. The whole point of riding wide of the gutter is saftey. Why don't they use them??
