Wot's with the ads for the Chinese ladies? I keep thinking I have dropped onto a porno site (as far as I am led to believe that's what they are like) or is theis forum some form of dating agency? Oh, they are from Vietnam now...... "Prenty good time, Johnny.....onry half a dorrer" AL
LOL - you may have more idea than the rest of us. I'm not getting them so I'm guessing that these ads you see could be targeted at you as an individual based on your web-browsing history AdSense Help
I got them as well...... I know I am not to most chaps liking but...... as for my browsing history I think it was Tescos???
There is a horizontal ad which scrolls at the bottom of the website. It can't be due to browsing history....I don't have a fixed IP address and all browsing history is cleared each time I leave the internet using three cleaners. I have more security on these PCs than the banks and can't be hacked (easily). I think the only way I can be seeing these images is because of something which has attached itself to this website. AL.
Thanks Rob......So I can sue Dave for suggesting that I had been on porno sites, then? AL PS....I have also notice that the 'Forum' and 'Forum Actions' at the top left of the web pages has become superimposed over the white 'blogs' and 'groups' etc......it was alright yesterday.
Ok, hopefully no more dodgy dating ads! Arquebus, I cannot see the superimposed error that you can. What browser are you using and I will try to see if I can replicate it.
Doh, no chinese lady love for me......just my luck! Only using iOS devices at the minute tho.....non of that Microsoft nonsense for me. Anth
I'd like to vote for more dodgy Chinese ads, can't believe anyone is complaining!! --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?cjeae3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AL, Any chance you can try IE9 or Firefox? I'm on Apple's safari but it looks the same for me on Firefox. Don't have the ability to test IE.
I will get round to it........but I can live with it I guess.......It may be something to do with my monitor set-up......I'm running two off an ATI graphics card and one off the ASUS on board graphics which is the middle one and the main one. I'll have a play around........Is Java necessary on this site?....I had something like this before, but only because I had uninstalled Java. Cheers AL.
Found it and cured...sort of.......switched IE 8 'compatibilty view' setting to 'ON'....... But it has made the black area at the bottom of the webpages about another webpage longer...still, resolved as far as I am concerned. Sorry Rob. AL
Funny that....in Compatability View I can't access Notifications, but the Forum superimposition is cured...weird......must be Microshaft I reckon AL.
