Yo Guys Found some Motech Pannier's under the tree yesterday. Must have been a good boy !!! These where bought for the 1199, and told they don't fit the 1299. But if you use the shorter spacer's they fit. The exhaust heat shield is the problem, with it extending further back. Just 2 bolts hold the small base plate on. Then you plug in the hanging bars. Then just slide on the Panniers, and Velcro them together above the rear seat hump. Going to get this Venture shielded to stop any wear. Took 2 mins to fit... Good looking kit for a sports bike and less than £200 Ready now for Assen next June .

I like these, they're are a good piece of kit. Dead easy to attach/detach the bracket. I just gaffer tape up the rear so it doesn't chafe. I've only ever used them in the smaller capacity mode, I.e. Not unzipped. Slight buffeting at very high speed. Well thought out German piece of kit and so much better looking than a bloody great bag or box on the rear seat.
Hi Dubs. The first pics show the brackets. Just 2 bolts secure the mounting frame where the rear footpegs bolt on.
