After having seen the pictures of the Panigale Aniversario and sat in a bar this afternoon in Bardolino on the Lake Garda shore you can understand why it is so beautiful, the Italians have class and style in their dress as well, men and women. Annoyingly the older male Italian also seems to have a lot more hair than me, although that is not difficult. After indulging in our favorite pastime of drinking and watch the world go by I have decided that when I am supreme leader of the free world I will sponsor a new team called Fashion Police. It will be an instant fine for the wearing black socks with sandles or trainers, below the knee shorts and buggy smugglers for over 25's.
When I lived in Italy, after a while I ended up having to iron my shorts and t shirts as I could not bear the looks of disgust that I got while walking on the street! Great place, great people, great food, great vehicles....great drivers...once you get used to the "system"!
I was sat in a bar in Como this afternoon thinking the same. There was not one oversize lady in skin coloured leggings showing off her cellulite. I am liking the young Italian ladies penchant for the Daisy Duke shorts showing a little cheek.
