You might think I'm being too pedantic of finicky, but I've come this far and I don#e want to start cutting corners yet :)

  4. I did mine on my 91SS recently. Don't use paint. I used a product called Wonder Wheels. It's meant for cleaning alloy wheels. I used it initially on my calipers and then bottom of my forks. It works well on ally but don't get it on anything else. It will dull shiny stainless steel. The trick to using it for me was to do it in the sink. Aply it with the supplied brush and quickly work it in to a foam then rinse it off with clean water. I masked off the bobbins and rotors with tin foil. The disks came up a treat.

  5. Fantastic, thank you very much

  6. Just to be clear, use it on the painted inner as it will wreck the steel outer. I cleaned the steel rotors with scotchbrite and brake cleaner.
