1299 Clicking Noise At Full Lock Rhs

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Union8, Jan 1, 2024.

  1. So as the description says I have clicking plastic to plastic noise at full lock on the RHS only. Now the bike was in garage for the brake master piston recall and I know that I did not have a noise before. I have check above below and I can’t see what could be rubbing and making this noise, it would seem that the noise is coming from the RHS IMG_1652.jpeg any help would be appreciated. Thanks Adam

  2. First thing I would do is to check the routing of the ABS cable and ensure that it is still clipped into the supporting lugs on the mudguard. It's quite easy to inadvertently dislodge the cable; this will result in the ABS cable making contact with the tyre as it rotates, resulting in a sound similar to what you are reporting.

  3. Clutch fluid reservoir making contact with fairing well nut or screen?

  4. Thanks for the replies will be checking all the above later this morning

  5. Have a look at the foldable mud flap around the bottom yoke. If not fitted right, they can rub on the air duct covers.
