  2. What you after?
    Raised ones?

  3. I would prefer slightly raised/adjustable ones.. I was originally just going to powdercoat the standard ones black but after seeing some lovely billet ones i kinda got my heart set on the bling. But it appears they dont all do what they say on the tin

  8. Hmmmm... no.. not a lot off help.. Is it to early for a steak sandwich and a pint?

  9. good man yaself! Might go for the proper steak sandwich (a piece of steak between 2 pieces of steak) With lots of cheese :upyeah:

  10. do it, although for me a proper steak sandwich is a highland park sandwiched between two Guinness.

  11. One of the easiest and cheapest mods is to swap the bars left to right this raises and flattens the out. I use Gilles variobar clip on's which suit me

  12. Nice one mate. What model bike? what gilles ones? just had a google and theres quite a few options! dont spose you have a pic of yours?

  13. ok, these are one of a couple of types I have/use Woodcraft 2 Piece Clip Ons - Bike Torque Racing . The great benefit of the woodcraft ones is that they are a split clamp, so no need to remove top triple to remove. Nicely made and a fair price. Any aftermarket bars fit in them, I prefer the renthal bars as the are graduated - makes setting left to right spacing very quick and easy. I have never tried gilles one, I thought that was something you wore to go grouse shooting in. PP Tuning are nicely made as are renthal, but they do not have the split clamp.

  14. Have woodcraft ones... that's the prob! They looked the dogs, but after fitting the front fairing and sitting on the bike it seems they hit the frame on full lock and if adjusted forward to where they miss it (by 2mm) its not a great position at all and the controls scrape the fairing and hit the clocks!

  15. Hmmm -something not right. On full lock there should be a gap about fist width between bar and tank.

  16. Just looked at your build thread - you have the clipons on the wrong side !!!!!!!!! That why they are fouling. Take them off and swap over and turn them over. all will be fine then

  17. The bars clear the tank no prob, its the clip on itself (the bulbous bit where the bolts go in) that hits the frame just below the front of the tank before it hits the stop. i can rotate them further forward to gain minimal clearance of the frame but it then fouls the fairing/clocks well before full lock.

  18. if they where reversed that bars would be the wrong way up no? I think i know what you mean!!! i'd need to push the bars through as well... I think bike isn't handy but that could well make sense
