I think all the dry clutch covers are interchangable.

There are millions on ebay even by searching on 900

Yes, I've seen them and even bought one once. The thing is it got broken when a polish taxi driver reversed into the bike so I thought I'd get a billet one instead of a carbon one (and I'm tight so I want a bargain)

Not all the dry ones are the same, my 750 is the exception. Well not my 750, all the dry 750's. Slave cylinder is on/in the cover, so no open clutch cover for me:-(
