My MTS is now 14 months old (9000 miles), at about 8 months it had to have a new master cylinder as the clutch lever got closer and closer to the bar to the point where I had to use the span adjuster just to get the clutch to clear. Rode the bike today and it feels like the lever is just starting to get a little closer to the bar again; trouble is I am due to head off to the Alps in a few days and am not sure if I am just being paraniod about losing the cluch while away or not. The clutch fluid is very black but I know this has been talked about on another thread and appears to be normal for Ducati. Will probably have a word with the service manager at my dealer but as it is at the moment they could probably rightly argue that there is little wrong with the cluch; it all works fine at the moment.
Does it need bleeding? Easy job as the bleed nipple is on top of the lever side. Mine has to be bled every 5-6k miles.
