Clutch Master Cylinder

Hi all.
My clutch master cylinder ( the on fitted on the handlebar, not at the engine so there´s no misunderstanding !) on My ST 2 has gone south, makes no pressure. I have been told that this is a "one unit" (no spares)
As I will need a new one I was wondering if a clutch master cylinder from a ST 3 or a ST 4 would fit, and possibly make the clutch lighter ? Or do you know of a clutch master cylinder for the ST 2 which makes the clutch lighter ?
