Clutch Master Pressure Switch With Bleed Nipple?

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by comesunt, Aug 31, 2014.

  1. Hi All,

I swapped out the standard clutch master for a Brembo RCS unit; which does not have a fitting for the micro switch. I have taped it in the closed position but now I want to do a proper job...

I have seen some banjo bolt switches on the InterWeb; but have yet to find one that contains a bleed nipple. I'm also guessing that some make a circuit when under pressure; and some break the circuit...?

Any offers of advice most welcome...

    Bob

  2. Isnt the bleed nipple separate and at the top? I have a brembo banjo switch, brand new, somewhere

  3. Yep, my mistake; not a banjo bolt switch required, just one for the bleed nipple...I'm pretty sure I've seen a unit that is designed to go on the master cylinder, and has a bleed nipple. I'll change my search criteria and see if anything pops up... Thanks, Bob

  4. That one won't fit.

  5. Ok, why's that then...? Need to find out if I need a 1.0 or 1.25 mm thread... Would appreciate if you can recommend one that will fit?? @bradders, if you have a spare, then pse let me know and I'll send you some cash... ;-)

  6. I'll see if I can find it

  7. Thanks @antonye ... Just bought one form the link you provided. @bradders, thanks for the offer to dig one out, but for less that £1o delivered, it's a lot less nonsense all round....

    Cheers,

    Bob
