Clutch Slipping Again Monster 1100s

  1. Sadly my Monster 1100 S clutch is slipping again.

How many miles do people get out of a clutch pack? Had mine replaced last service which was around 2000 miles ago and it's started slipping again.

It's just been looked at and I was told it all looked fine and was correct stack height it was also cleaned out etc. I don't think it was properly road tested because it's very noticeable. What could cause it to be slipping? I would say it's most apparent when in 3rd and 4th under load. Pulling away is fine and no lurching. More so when cold.

    Bike has standard clutch
    DP Closed clutch cover
    Rizoma levers.
    Oberon clutch Slave.

  2. From your post, you have the pazzo levers fitted. Before looking at plate issues, check that there is sufficient free play at the master cylinder. If not, the cylinder can pump up, stop the slave releasing fully and causing slip.
