Hi I'm new to the forum, need some help, I recently bought my 1st Ducati 1198 from my local garage there was a problem with the clutch so I took it back and the fitted a new one no problem, I have took the bike out couple of times on odd nice day, Sunday decided to go on long journey, after couple of hours on my day out approaching an island, the clutch lever was solid, and the bike stalled, I looked down at clutch casing to see clutch bolts and springs had spun and ground through my clutch casing and was white hot! Would it be garages fault or something else??????
It sounds like the center nut has come loose, it depends what the garage replaced but it looks like there fault, a big coincidence if not. Steve
They just said they changed the clutch because it was worn, not sure to what extent, think they have some explaining to do cheers for reply
