Has anyone bought and installed these Frame Cap kits? What do you think of them? Should I get them or not? frame cap kit black CNC Racing for Ducati Multistrada 1200 | eBay thanks Steve
I have them fitted to my mts and i agree it is personal taste, however with the eight frame plugs supplied it leaves the upper angled mount without one and it does look as though one is missing you can go for the gold coloured then buy the two angled plugs but the two are around the same cost as the other eight plugs
I have got these and I personally think they look great but there you go. Just purchased the top beveled ones at£75 a pair! Ouch. I'll get them fitted and post a picture so you can make your own mind up.
Thanks AndyW, benner and ojobear! I'd love to see the photos once you've fitted the angled ones. Thanks.
Thought about them myself. Mainly to resist corrosion. But worried it may trap moisture instead. But now thinking may not be a bad idea after all especially for the big one near the heel which is getting scuffed at the moment.
Loads of ACF50 brushed around the frame recesses before fixing the plugs/caps ;-) You'd think they could do a full set a bit cheaper than they sell the two kits for?
I've got the gold kit also. Yes it's bling, but it does finish off the bike. Now where did I put those white walled tyres?
Not so convinced on the Gold ones - I was thinking of the plain black ones - finish it off without standing out too much. We'll see. Going to get a set of Evotech radiator/oil rad protectors first then worry about these later. I do like the look of them though.
lol. racing.................frame cap (sp -crap)..............multistrada. What race bikes have those bits of tacky milk bottle top on? Dear me, next it will be furry dice off the bar ends (rizoma of course)
Just had a look at the latest Rizoma product booklet and I can't see any furry dice listed i'm afraid. Love the idea though so I will ring them tomorrow to see if they have any plans for future production. I'll also check with R&G, God this is exciting.
