Recently bought a CNC fuel cap and got round to fitting today. It as a breather pipe where the oem doesn't.Do I need this breather pipe as it will not pass through the small hole where the fuel cap sits. Only enters a small amount and no more. Anyone help please.
I bought the BDS version which also has a breather pipe. I pushed it down the breather hole, measured the pipe and cut it to suit. Fitted fine and i have no idea if it works or not, but the tank is not pressurised ever.
That's what I ended up doing mate,cut it shorter. Stood at arms length when I first at to open to refuel.haha
