Coffee Prices To Rise Due To Current Droughts In Producers’ Countries

  1. When you brew your morning coffee or grab one from your favourite takeaway, do you wonder where the coffee beans came from ? Because I’m currently bored, I’ve discovered that your coffee supplier could very well be in Vietnam. In 2023, Vietnam was the world’s second largest producer behind Brazil. Today’s absolutely useless factoid :D:joy: Andy

  2. Confused. Are we getting unprecedented floods or unprecedented droughts?

  3. “I don’t drink coffee, I take tea my dear…"

  15. On the rare occasion I get a Starbucks I’m normally preoccupied with wondering how a medium skinny latte is now £4.80

  16. Extremes of both.

  17. Proper Italian or french made coffee in Italy or France. Starbucks, Costa etc are shite in comparison.

  18. It's coffee for me, even have a grinder and espresso machine at home that gets daily use.
Will be interesting to see if prices change, one company I buy roasted beans from source from a few Sth American countries but not Brazil, they are fair trade so assume they would pass on increases as soon as they appeared.

  19. Yorkshire Tea....the UK's finest! I once flew back home with an entire hand luggage filled with teabags. ;)
