i did this thinking it would be a good thing, but when the timer clicks out (my) optimiser must have a drain on in it if left plugged in but switched off, it has a load of LEDs that stay on so they must drain the battery some how now i just leave it on permanently
This morning it’s a relatively warm 7 deg C, bike hasn’t been started or ridden since December 22, so 9 days of inactivity, started no problem at all. So I think I’m going to get a better heater for the garage, so those very cold mornings I need to ride at least I can give the battery and bike a chance as having it on the optimate isn’t always the answer. Any way off for my last motorcycle ride of 2023
