998 Colour Coordination

  1. Should the mirrors be colour coordinated with the fairing, or black? Is that something that changed from earlier 916/996 models?
    Also, the front fairing insert, around the forward cylinder head and oil cooler, should that be colour coordinated or plain black?

  2. On the 998 the mirrors are colour coded. Also the v piece.

  3. I think red mirrors were also a performance option for the 996

  4. I have a 2002 748, same year as the 998 with the enclosed fairings and both mirrors and radiator fairing are red

  5. My 998 came with black mirrors from the factory
