Compression Underlayers In Lidl Again

  1. They're back in. Great kit for next to nothing.

    Apply life advice on the other items.....don't go near their helmet

  2. Bought some under armour stuff from local mega super global hyper sportshop....half the price of the under layers in fowlers and better fitting...

    I shop at Lidl , very good value for money. Better quality that Tesco

  14. I can confirm (after testing them while walking the dog this morning) that the socks are very comfy, at just £2.49. I haven't tried the under garments yet (but pleased to see that the packaging says they "minimise unpleasant body odour"). I decided not to risk the helmets.

  18. I've got a couple of sets of the base layers for Lidl as well as a proskins top (it has a polar neck so stops my neck rubbing on my leathers). The proskins isn't noticably better and in fact is prone to pulling threads when there's velcro about. 100% recommend the Lidl ones.

  19. Must say I prefer merino to anything man made - might try them as an emergency set

    Not sure if the do size 6 :wheeze:

  20. I've just bought Merino Wool top and leg things from T K Maxx made by Patagonia. Normally £80 down to £20. They're selling off all their skiing under garment stuff.
