Following Harlings post about fender extenders, I was doing a bit of browsing to see if there were any alternatives to the pyramid version and came across this: Ducati Multistrada 1200 Carbon Fibre Fender Extender Has anyone tried one of these ? What would be really cool would be one like this but double length, so it effectively has the extender built in  I recall it being discussed over on ducati.ms a few years back, but did anyone ever produce one ?
Hi John What would be nice is if Ducati in the first place designed a decent front mudguard. This short thing with the wobbly extender is poor. I know looks cool but is crap. So my question would be does anyone make a one piece mudguard thats full length, i.e. includes extender.
Pete, got to agree. That ilmberger one looks nice, but I'm not after a full carbon guard. The existing guard has clips on its underside to hold the abs cable in place. Not a big problem but something to resolve if a different guard were to be tried.
Too pricey for me and as I have the base model the carbon would look out of place. The problem I see with a longer extender to replace the Ducati one is that the fixing does not appear to be very strong. My extender flops about and is very close too the tyre, making it longer may exacerbate this. However it is something I could be interested in trying.
