Hiya Chaps and Chapesses, I just thought that I would post this to share with you all my thoughts and experience with this stand, just in case someone else is thinking of purchasing one! Simply it doesn't work because it is not physically tall enough to lift the bike off of the ground. Their web photos would have you believe otherwise!! On the plus side the customer service has been fine, if not a little slow. But they have now offered a full refund and will pay for the return of the stand back to Germany. Personally, I think they have just re-marketed the same stand for the DVT and photoshopped some Enduro photos onto one of their stands without properly checking the product works. If you actually look closely at their web photos the Enduro shows the exhaust on the left side of the bike!? And even when the bike has been lifted by the stand the suspension hasn't moved (extended). Photoshopping at its worst So if you were thinking of getting one then I can only recommend you don't, at least until they make one that properly lifts your bike into the air as advertised. In the meantime I am gonna save my pennies and buy an Abba sky lift (which is what I should have done the first time round) Cheers all
Once my 1200enduro is back after its 9k service & few bits&bobs added. A trip down to abbastands near chelmsford is planned to see about a sky-lift purchase also. Been planning to buy one for ages but others things got in the way. Motorcycle Equipment - Abba Stands, UK
