... Started using these on the track day hire bikes last year. Endurance rear and medium front. Compared with other compound tyres they - 1. Grip well even from cold 2. Work well in the wet relative to the competition (from cold) 3. Wear rates are very acceptable 4. They are very stable 5. They are cheap relative to the competition My opinion and that of my customers (more importantly) only. You may get more ultimate grip from a R10 or GP211 etc but I'm not that good a rider to test this to the max!!
The sportattack2's got a good track review on this months performance bikes. Pants road review though. what sort of wear are you getting out of them?
The set on our 900ss have now done 5 customer days and 5 days with me riding. Still plenty of tread left - I would estimate another 5 track days before I give in and buy another set. Of course that does depend on which track and how spirited the riding is.
