Getting a set of the above fitted to the 916 as a "break from the norm" . They have had quiet a few good reviews so i thought i would give them ago. Does anyone else run them or will i be the odd ball out
I had a set on a Fireblade, both front and rear wore out in less than 1800 miles, the front was properly shot. Never again!
To late such is life they are fitted now, i done a wet track day with them and they were fantastic ............ but that's about it all at the moment as i need a boat to go out today more than a bike ! once ive been out and about ill let you know what i think of them.
They are supposed to be very grippy, but then just drop off. I need something with a longer life, that's why I didn't get them.
I've looked at these as a change from the 2CT's which I find pretty hard to fault, but if they're wearing out after a couple of K forget it. I've also wondered what the Road Attack II's are like as well, I don't need an extreme grip tyre for general road use, maybe a better option?? Continental Tyres UK
I have these fitted to one of my track bikes - no issues. Grip is good even in the damp and they turn in to corners well. Do not need quite as much warm up as some compound tyres I've used. Can't say enything about road longevity as they have only done track time. Let me put it another way - none of my customers complain and when I use them to instruct I am also happy.
