Cornwall ST3 anybody know it?

  1. Hello all,
I posted a few months back that I have been searching for a good ST4S. A lot of frogs & few princes out there. I re-evaluated & decided to look at spending a bit more to get a later model ST with the angular front & gel seat etc. Have seen an ST3 near Plymouth with ~13k, red & with lots of love lavished on it with SS fasteners, aftermarket exhaust + Power Commander set up with custom map. Has panniers/top box plus original parts etc. Anybody know this bike. It has little paperwork history but seems genuine. Local knowledge is very useful!

    Thanks in advance

  2. Sorry to say, not one that I recognise - but it sounds good... If the price is right it could be a good buy...

  3. Hi JR,
Sorry so long to reply. I've linked this forum with my Gmail account, but obviously need to keep looking! Thanks for the input. I bought it against all known common sense. No service history & even without test ride as on the day I went it was liquid mud everywhere & although I am a confident rider through all conditions, it seemed terrible to take a pristine bike through it all. I did do an HPI etc, but of course that's only "recorded" incidents. Anyway, after almost sleepless nights, finally got out on the weekend & it is brilliant. I have no qualms that there is any hidden damage etc. Wow, what a difference having the fuelling & ignition maps optimised. I've ridden a couple of ST2's, a couple of ST3's & an ST4S. This ST3 feels as quick as the ST4S for sure. If I am critical, the suspension is a little bouncy, but it isn't an S with the Ohlins etc. Still handles well, nonetheless. Just can't wait until this crummy weather gets better now. All the best, Mark
