Hey folks, couple quickies, firstly is it possible to remove the rear headers without removing the majority of the bike "tank, rear sub frame etc" Second looking at the rear sheatshield, which doesn't seem to work fantastically in the summer, what's the general though about heat wrapping the rear sections, headers down etc? Cheers Ben
I don't think so mate, no. Pretty sure tank and sub frame will have to come off. It's quite involving I believe. Regarding the heat wrapping. I don't see why not. @nelly will put you right
Yeah, tank and subframe off to do the rear headers. You’ll need the radiators out of the way to get the fronts out as well. It’s a big job. Depending on your toolkit and ingenuity, you save a bit of time, but I’ve done a few now and It’s still getting on for a day
Ok thanks folks, I'm in no rush to get it done, but was hoping there may be a trick I'd missed,, have to admit so far into disassembley I'm not overly impressed by the lock tight and quality of fastners used.
