Thinking of stripping the crankcase paint off completely and leaving the cases in bare metal If you've done it, a) Are you pleased you did? b) Did you blast the cases for a consistent appearance? c) What prep was involved? d) How do you keep them clean? Thanks in advance
Could be done? My righthand engine clutch case is bare alloy? Would recommend laquering the bare alloy after you did it though, would make it easier to clean, any road grime would stick like sh!t to the rough alloy, would corrode quick too? Bead-blasting or vapour blasting would get a good finish?
